Uniting Communities – “Fiesta del Tambor” Fundraising Event

We are pleased to announce this year’s “Fiesta del Tambor”. We invite you to join us for an evening of music, dance, dinner, and a spectacular concert and show with world renown and Grammy nominee pianist Chuchito Valdes; singer Fito Reynoso of the Buena Vista Social Club; maestro, composer, guitarist and singer, Freddy Montes; and closing the evening with the rhythms and beats of Afro Cuban dance, directly from Matanzas, Cuba, Yuniscleyvis Ramos – 5th Generation of the world renown “Los Muñequitos de Matanzas”. Certainly an evening full of dance, music and folklore you will not want to miss.
While you enjoy a special night, you will also be helping countless displaced families new in our communities, many victims of human trafficking. Through prevention, survivor care, and community transformation programs — we work to end human trafficking and sexual exploitation by empowering the voices of vulnerable and exploited children, youth, and families in our city of Tampa, and globally.
Miel y Canela Foundation is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization whose mission is to empower, strengthen, support, and revitalize the voiceless communities, and an advocate to protect the standard of human rights, and fighting to end human trafficking.
