Poet Moctezuma Braussi debuts with ‘You, Me … and Us’
Tarpon Springs, Fla. – Moctezuma Braussi marks his debut in the poetry world with the release of his first book of poems titled “You, Me … and Us”(published by URLink). Written in the author’s signature provocative, sensitive and down to earth conversation style, this poetic anthology along with beautiful photographs specially created for this book will take readers on an unforgettable journey of the heart, soul and senses.
“You, Me … and Us” was inspired by Braussi’s observations of life and his burning desire to share his personal experiences with others. Featuring thought-provoking, innovative and introspective poems, this collection captures the realistic harshness of love and passion, the aftermath of jealousy, betrayal and scorn and it reveals what patriotism means. Braussi hopes that his work will inspire readers to reflect and ruminate over life’s important questions.
An excerpt from the book reads:
“Life, reluctantly or deliberately will hit you, shake you and betray you… Because Life is inherently a riddle of realities.”
Rendered in two languages, “You, Me … and Us” is a shining testament to the power of poetry to connect people in shared experience. It will uplift the spirit, comfort the heart and feed the soul.
