SATURDAY, JULY 29, 2017 | 7:30 P.M.
@ AMWAY CENTER | ORLANDO, FLORIDA
Latin superstar Prince Royce is not wasting any time. He released his latest album, “Five,” last Friday and just announced he will be touring the U.S. this summer as part of his Five World Tour. This only means that his U.S. fans will not have to wait too long to watch him perform hits from all five albums. The U.S. leg of the Five World Tour kicks off on June 29 in Laredo, TX and will make 21 stops throughout the country. Royce plays Orlando’s Amway Center on Saturday, July 29. Tickets go on sale to the general public this Friday, March 3 at 10 a.m.
As its title suggests, “Five” is Royce’s fifth career album and his fourth bachata production. The album’s deluxe version contains 18 original songs written or co-written by the artist as well as produced by Royce alongside D’Lesly “Dice” Lora, with whom he has collaborated with on all of his bachata albums. “Five’s” standard version features 12 of the tracks and is preceded by three hit singles, “Culpa Al Corazon,” “La Carretera,” and “Moneda” and includes many wonderful collaborations with Shakira, Zendaya, Chris Brown, SpiffTV, Farruko, Gente de Zona, Gerardo Ortiz and Arturo Sandoval.
Last week, Royce and Shakira released their single, “Déjà Vu,” which is the album’s fourth single. Royce joined forces with the global, multi-platinum singer-songwriter to perform this song that will undoubtedly be one of 2017’s greatest hits. Royce and Shakira recently filmed the song’s official music video with renowned director, Jaume de Laiguana and it premieres next month.
During the last six years, multi-platinum, award-winning, Royce has scored 11 number one hits, 21 Latin Billboard Awards, 19 Premio Lo Nuestro Awards, 19 Premios Juventud Awards, and earned nine Latin Grammy nominations.
Royce also has a massive fan base with over two billion online streams, 33.5 million Facebook followers, 6.8 million Twitter followers and 7 million Instragram followers. He has sold out the most prestigious venues in Latin America as well as shows throughout the U.S. including Radio City Music Hall, Microsoft Theater and the Theater at Madison Square Garden.
